Kurów

Could you please write a stub http://ts.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurow – just a few sentences based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kur%C3%B3w ? Only 5-10 sentences enough. Please.

PS. Article about Kurów is already in 312 languages and dialects. If you do that, please put interwiki link into English version. If your village/town/city isn't yet on PL wiki, I can do article about it. (I'm first author of requests and this article have the biggest number of interwikis) Pietras1988 TALK 19:47, 17 Sunguti 2009 (UTC) Reply

Problem

I don't know much but I think that the problem is here, you must copy and paste the following information there:

/* Infobox template style */ .infobox {

   border: 1px solid #aaa;
   background-color: #f9f9f9;
   color: black;

}

.infobox.bordered td, .infobox.bordered th {

   border: 1px solid #aaa;

}

/* Styles for bordered infobox with merged rows */ .infobox.bordered .mergedtoprow td, .infobox.bordered .mergedtoprow th {

   border-top: 1px solid #aaa;
   border-right: 1px solid #aaa;

}

.infobox.bordered .mergedrow td, .infobox.bordered .mergedrow th {

   border-right: 1px solid #aaa;

}

/* Makes the background of a framed image white instead of gray. */ /* Only visible with transparent images. */ div.thumb div a img {

   background-color: #fff;

}

If this doesn't solve the problem I don't know what could be. (I could do it but on that page only can write administrartors). --Kijr 18:32, 20 Sunguti 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kijr. I will translate when I can. At the moment I am involved with the South African Wikimedia Chapter and we are preparing a website for Wiki Loves Monuments, so am a bit tied-up. But I will most certainly translate as and when I get a chance. Thanks --Thuvack | talk 10:54, 5 Khotavuxika 2012 (UTC)Reply

Is this a correct translation: "Thank you my relative, I work with power in order to make our tongue/language grow. I like to see [the presence of] you here on this Wikipedia."? I've only learned a little Tsonga, but I hope I'm at least close in my translation. ;) PiRSquared17 (talk) 04:57, 16 Nyenyankulu 2013 (UTC)Reply
That is almost accurate translation. Which tool are you using? Thank you for showing interest in this wiki. It gets a bit lonely around here.--Thuvack | talk 10:22, 16 Nyenyankulu 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm not really using any translation tool, and I couldn't find any. I used tsongaonline.co.za when I couldn't figure out what a word meant. I did have trouble with "himatimba". Does it mean "power"? PiRSquared17 (talk) 15:27, 16 Nyenyankulu 2013 (UTC)Reply

Translation request: HIV/AIDS

Hello, Thuvack. Would you be interested in translating an article about HIV/AIDS to Tsonga? You could instead translate simple:AIDS, if you find the English Wikipedia one too long or difficult to translate. PiRSquared17 (talk) 14:01, 15 Nyenyankulu 2013 (UTC)Reply

I will do what I can this weekend. Thanks for the interest shown in the advancement of this small wiki.--Thuvack | talk 15:08, 15 Nyenyankulu 2013 (UTC)Reply

Help

Hi! How are you? Could you please help me translating the following article?

The Tsonga people originate from Central Africa and arrived in South Africa some 1000 years ago. Initially, the Tsonga people settled on the coastal plains of Southern Mozambique but later migrated to the Transvaal Province in South Africa during the early 1800s. Within apartheid South Africa, a Tsonga "homeland", Gazankulu, was created out of part of northern Transvaal Province (Now Limpopo Province and Eastern Transvaal (Now Mpumalanga) during the 1960s and was granted self-governing status in 1973. Nowadays, they live in South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Thanks for your help. --Kijr (talk) 15:10, 26 Mawuwani 2015 (UTC)Reply

I've created two new templates, you can see them in the article Spaniya. --Kijr (talk) 15:36, 26 Mawuwani 2015 (UTC)Reply

I wanted to follow-up on an message I sent you in September regarding the need for you to sign a confidentiality agreement by 31 N'wendzamhala 2015 in order to maintain your access from Wikimedia to nonpublic information, and specifically to the OTRS system.

As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 Dzivamusoko 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are transitioning to the new policy.

An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.

The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that anyone with access to nonpublic information sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 N'wendzamhala 2015 to retain their access. You are receiving this message because you have access to nonpublic information by way of the OTRS system and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy. If you do not sign the new confidentiality agreement by 31 N'wendzamhala 2015, you will lose your OTRS access.

Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. We have prepared a guide on Meta-Wiki to help you create your Phabricator account and sign the new agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign

If you have any questions or experience any problems while signing the new agreement, please visit this talk page or email me (gvarnum wikimedia.org). Again, please sign this confidentiality agreement by 31 N'wendzamhala 2015 to retain your access to nonpublic information. If you do not wish to retain this access, please let me know and we will forward your request to the appropriate individuals.

If you wish to stop receiving these notices, you may remove yourself from this list. Please note that doing so will not prevent you from losing OTRS rights and access after the 31 N'wendzamhala 2015 deadline.

Thank you,
Gregory Varnum (User:GVarnum-WMF), Wikimedia Foundation
